Beginner, intermediate, and advanced Trumpet lessons are taught by Conservatory Director B.J. Price. Having majored in Instrumental Music Education, Mr. Price received his B.A. from Jacksonville State University with a principal in trumpet. He is also the Associate Minister of Music and Worship here at First Baptist Trussville where he is the primary worship leader for the contemporary worship services.
For first-time students, a suggested beginning age for trumpet lessons is 9-10 years old. Trumpet lessons will be held in the Handbell room of the Music Suite, below the Sanctuary. These are lessons are given Mondays through Thursdays.
