Beginner, intermediate, and advanced Trumpet lessons are taught by Conservatory Director B.J. Price. Having majored in Instrumental Music Education, Mr. Price received his B.A. from Jacksonville State University with a principal in trumpet. He is also the Associate Minister of Music and Contemporary Worship Leader here at First Baptist Trussville.
For first-time students, a suggested beginning age for trumpet lessons is 9-10 years old. Trumpet lessons will be held in the Handbell room of the Music Suite, below the Sanctuary. These are lessons are given Mondays through Thursdays.
