It’s all about Him!
Good afternoon Conservatory Family!
Just a reminder on when tuition payments are due and the methods of payment available!
For all music and art students, if you have not paid in full for your semester’s tuition ($350), the remaining balance is now due. Many of you took advantage of the half/half payment option, so the remaining half payment is due at this time. Please contact the Music Office if you have any questions on your balance (228.1025).
For all dancers and acting students, your tuition is due at the 1st of each month. October’s tuition is now coming up, so plan to make your payment this next week to us so as to not be late! You do still have the option to pay for the rest of the semester if you so choose. Remember also about the $50 recital fee, to be paid towards the end of the semester.
You can either pay by check or online with your debit or credit card. For the online option, just click on the Register tab above and select the “Online Contributions page” link on the page. It will take you to where you can make an online payment. If you make an online payment, please be sure to indicate in the comments section that this payment is for Conservatory tuition, and include your child’s name.
If you pay by check, simply mail it or drop it off at my office or with your child’s instructor during class time. Thank you very much!
It’s All About Him!
There will be no classes held at the Conservatory on Monday, September 7th, in honor of Labor Day. The church offices will also be closed. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8th!
Have a wonderful and safe holiday weekend!
The Conservatory Staff
We are very pleased to welcome our new guitar instructor, Mr. Chris Smith, to our Conservatory this Fall! Mr. Smith teaches guitar to all ages and all levels, and having a love for all styles of music, Chris teaches his students the value of learning to read music, as well as having fun with modern pop and rock songs. His primary goal is that the student develops a life long love of music as well as the guitar.
Mr. Smith teaches lessons on Thursdays, between 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm, in Room 306 on the 3rd floor in the Francis Building.
Please call the music office with any questions or for more information! Thanks!
Many of you may not know about the Musicianship Classes we offer on Tuesday afternoons! We offer two classes: Level 1 – Beginner at 3:30 pm, and Level 2 – Intermediate at 4:30 pm. These classes are held on the 3rd floor of the Francis building, in room 302, and are taught by our cello instructor, Elizabeth McGinnis. This class teaches music history, theory, performance skills, and much more, in a fun, relaxed atmosphere! These classes are open to all music and art students, with no extra charge. Please join us this Tuesday!
Also, this fall we are offering the option of taking our Musicianship Classes ONLY. The cost for this class is waived if your child is already taking Music lessons, but for those of you interested in ONLY taking the Musicianship Class on Tuesdays, there is a one time charge of $140 for the semester.
Please register online or give me a call at 228-1025 if you are interested in these classes!
